Riley loves it when John does his little piggies...he will ask John to do the other one (foot) over and over and over again. Well through all of the countless times John has done it he has memorized it himself and now loves to do it to all of us (although he still wants John to do it to him!).

No Sleep in Our House
Well we are on night 11 or 12 (I can't keep track anymore) of little to no sleep in the Fiedler house. It all started just after Christmas....
Riley woke up around 6am screaming "get that off" in a very odd tone so I went in there to see what he was talking about. In the night, probably half asleep, he had wrapped a piece of yarn from his blanket around his finger and it had tied into a knot and got stuck. By the time he woke up from the pain the tip of his finger tip was completely black and so swollen that I could barely get to the yarn with a pair of scissors (I had to risk cutting him becuase I was already afraid he was going to lose his fingertip). I was able to cut it off, and although it took a few minutes for any color (even purple) to return to his finger, and it took forever for the indentation to go away, he is fine. However, the following nights he would wake up and say Riley "need want" kiss, well he would cry hysterically and say that. When I would go in there he would give me his finger to kiss, so we think he was having nightmares about the yarn. Then he started falling out of bed. John created a side rail for his bed now and although Riley thinks it's great that he has a new bed, he doesn't want to stay in it now. We found him asleep in the living room two mornings ago. He wakes up and says he has to go potty about a dozen times (which is a fib)...not sure what to do.
In the meantime Mr. Mason has learned to wake up and cry so hard that he starts choking because he is not breathing. Now naturally they don't do this at the same time. Last night Riley screamed from 9 to 11, then Riley picked up about 10:30 until midnight, and again at 4am. The only good news, and it is that, is that generally they don't wake each other up. Well actually I'm sure they do wake each other up, but they tend to just roll over. Now that I typed that I"m sure they will both be up screaming tonight---maybe we'll just close the door and turn the monitor off...but then HC would have to listen to it all night.
SIGH!!!!!!
At least they will grow out of all this together. Hopefully soon!

It's Official...Life Just got CRAZY
Well I think we can officially say that Mason is walking now. Last week he was only walking long distances when there were girls to walk to (geez-I am worried for when he is 16), but today he was walking everywhere and there were now girls here! Life gets a bit more crazy starting today...way to finish the year with a bang Mason!

Riley went on his first roller coaster on our last trip to Disneyland-and he LOVED it! John and Riley are in the front row-look closely! Ri loved it and cried when we left it to go and do something else! We have a dare devil on our hands!

Thanksgiving Weekend Fun
Ahhh the holidays! Thanksgiving was a blast. We spent the evening at Brooke and Andrew's house with the family. Then we had Mason's first birthday party yesterday at our house. Today, Daddy is out at the Chargers game, and tomorrow we go back to work! Whew! Plus, next weekend is even crazier!
